Yes, the NY/NJ one. And because it wasn't confusing enough there was also another Pantera from Detroit.

I saw some of their set at Ragnarokkr. My least favorite band of the festival, though I have only a passing interest in their LP.

Actually that has been confirmed to be a different Alien. It is the band Distrainers from their 1980-81 period when they were called Alien.

Thanks a lot for giving an insight about it! The name of the song featured on the demo comp is "Don't look back" and apparently there's other two songs on that 82 tape (it says that on the back of the cd, which I don't own but a friend does). Climbin' The Walls is one of my favorite thrash albums of all time. OK, maybe not pure thrash but thrash influenced? I love their demo period too but they lost me with the second LP and all the Souls At Zero stuff.
