Absolute hammer of a record.
I could list albums until my keyboard breaks, so I will mention the one record I feel is the essence of Death Metal; that is, having your head smashed against a grave repeatedly by a rotting, festering corpse ... Grave's 'Into the Grave'

Perhaps a comparable 'mystical' feeling, indeed. Can anybody think of less-obvious bands that are in some way similar?

I also downloaded that EP from Miskatonic a while back, and it is in my CD player perhaps more than anything else I have downloaded from other forums before.

FACE OF EVIL (Swe) kind of has that NIFELHEIM style in a way. No IRON MAIDEN style guitars though. F.O.E. were closer to VENOM. Killer LP on MetalBlood!! Get it if you can find it!! Can't wait for the next NIFELHEIM!!!!!!!!!! Keep us updated DaN! Was about to mention Face of Evil before I opened th...

Thanks for the tip. It's not bad, but may be worth picking up if just for trade.

Can anybody please provide some information about the PARASITE (Swe) MLP? I've seen it in a local store, but have no idea what they sound like or whether it is actually any good or not.
So, comparisons and an idea about how much it can be expected to sell for are helpful.

This is ea...

Can only agree here. Sorry, this album makes 'INRI' look as though it was written by schoolgirls

Re: HOLY TERROR

Holy Terror is one of my favourite bands. Their debut "Terror and Submission" is a milestone in heavy metal history. The great things about this band are their unique incredible songwriting skills by mastermind Kurt Colfelt (former Agent Steel) and the godly vocals of Keith Deen. Songs like Distant...
