Niggel now plays @ Ereshkigal and they have released the great The Raping Of The Divine LP back on 05. GREAT band if you are into old school Black Metal with that old good touch of the Greek Black Metal days. An inspired piece of blasphemic art. Check it!

Dark Starr from Rochester, New York, US and their same titled 1983 EP can be a good example of the style I am referring to.

Here's the article I refered to above. It seems it uses Heavy Metal consciously and expects readers to know what it entails. http://www.creemmagazine.com/_site/BeatGoesOn/SirLordBaltimore/KingdomCome001.html The word "Heavy" is spread there.. But not the phrase "Heavy ?Metal" or do I miss something?

I first thought we would speak for the crossover style of bands mixing hard rock and heavy metal in the early 80s ... :(

Back in the old days they were promoting themselves as not a Greek band but as a foreign band who had landed to Greece to start a build a career in there (!!!)m a totally insane point of view if you think that Greece back in the 80s was the land of the nightmare for any metal band that wanted to bui...

Roll Over Vic vella was included in another single I think. But I am not sure. I got it stored in an ancient tape with Maiden b sides. Impossible to check for more -tape is on the vaults and I am boring to search for Maiden stuff on the net- but the title is familiar to me.
