Re: lost METAL CHURCH tracks w/Mike Howe on vox !

I've never been the biggest fan of Howe with Metal Church. I much prefer his time with Heretic and David Wayne era Metal Church. Regardless, it would be interesting to have a listen or at least a photo of the demo. This I have asealed copy of Northwest Metal Fest w/ MC on it, I wonder who the singe...

Hard to pick a favorite album, very hard. I ended up selecting Sin After Sin, just love that one to death

Lately I really have been getting into Angel of Retribution

Re: Closest to '76-'78 Priest you may get???

[quote="AvengerAlthough, the solo in "Dissident Aggressor" definitely gave influence to guys like Kerry King[/quote] Kerry King is a hack and a greedy POS who was only out for himself and to hell with the rest of the group, Hanneman carried the band. He reminds me of Dave Mustaine except Mustaine is...

Re: Closest to '76-'78 Priest you may get???

I liked the old Priest stuff a lot and still do. Back in the early days, they were more of a hard rock progressive band then Metal. To me, British Steel was the first "heavy metal" album. All Priest is great, even the lame tunes have something to offer if you give them a chance. I appreciate their m...

Rather old reissue but nonethenless a disgrace: Fates Warning ‎– The Spectre Within on Metal Blade 2012 http://www.discogs.com/Fates-Warning-The-Spectre-Within/release/4989974 Terribly dull sound, no highs (especially on the solos) whatsoever, everything seems to be cut off. Pressing is a joke, doz...

Re: Phantom Blue test pressing question

I guess I will try to record a full track off the record today, there is 8 tracks on the side, I just hate trying to upload vids as it takes forever

Surprised no one has recognized this so far but then again, maybe it was never commercially released material

Re: Phantom Blue test pressing question

As stupid as this sounds, this reminds me of The Accused. Interestingly, side A has the unidentified band. The Phantom Blue side which is side 2 of the album clearly identifies the catalog number as a Shrapnel SH-1043, (not Roadrunner) release so my bad. A side matrix is S-22027. S-22028 shows on th...
