Re: VIRGIN STEELE 'Invictus'

A masterpiece, the last really great album they released and probably their rawest one as well. After that, I liked only a few tracks off the 1st Atreus, the rest range from mediocre to total crap.

Re: Song of the Day (2017)

Jugulator for me is killer. I know it has little to do with the classic Judas Priest sound, but I like it so much anyway. They were in their 50s when it was put out and the aggression and anger they released with that album is unbelievable. And both live albums with Ripper are fantastic. As for Cath...

Re: 80's Metal fanzines - discussions/tips/page-feedback (CONTRIBUTORS WANTED!)

How about making a list with our favorite 'zines? Here's mine: 1. KICK ASS MONTHLY (USA) For the unique writing style of late Bob Muldowney, opinionated but brutally honest 2. DECIBEL OF DEATH (FRANCE) Tons of underground bands featured and almost always praising the really good stuff 3. METAL MELTD...

Re: Desolation Angels

My favorite release of theirs is surely While the flame still burns with Dave Wall on vocals and not the wimpy Lee Addison versions that were included in the Miskatonic box set. Some tracks on that comp (Killer, Running for you life etc.) were also way better than anything on the LP, which I do like...

Re: cds for sale

Have you tried looking for ads in fanzines that were published 20 years ago? Might find something there, who knows.

Re: Metal hunting in Amazon

I have found some classics/common stuff really cheap there, but rare stuff is either not for sale anymore or if it is, the prices are just as high as in every other known site.

I had asked them if they could sell me some t-shirts they had put out sometime ago, got no response either.

Ha,ha...Nothing like a good ol Corroseum controversy! :P Admit it or not, these controversies keep the forums alive! When we all agree, we hardly see one-two posts in corroseum each day! Now we have a flood of posts!! Later, we might all cry with crocodile tears: "But why can't we all be frie...
