Re: 80's Metal fanzines - discussions/tips/page-feedback (CONTRIBUTORS WANTED!)

Normally spanish have lesser abilities in speaking other languages besides their own. Even if i admit that in latest years i have chatted with several spanish people with very good english. Anyways 2 years ago i went to Madrid for Dark Quarterer and Ironsword and all i had to do was to speak spanish...

Re: 80's Metal fanzines - discussions/tips/page-feedback (CONTRIBUTORS WANTED!)

Is it correct what Cochino stated. Normally spanish spoken countries have more difficulties with understanding the portuguese, than us portuguese, to understand the spanish. My english isn't perfect enough to do translations from the portuguese (actually from the brasilian - Rock Brigades) to englis...

Re: Looking for information about ARKHAM?

I simply don't give a f**k about M.A. but yes same band. Based in Bavaria. The demo was recorded/released after the German Metal Hour tracks. The drummer later went to Pole Position - https://www.discogs.com/Pole-Position-For-The-Future/release/3786701 As far as i know the 1986 Demo only features 2 ...

Re: Best-Favorite NWOBHM LPs ?

I'm not going to break more balls to the specialists here But as my friend Priamos once said on another Thread - things sometimes are not or Black or White sometimes are grey I've my opinion as well about what happend to the NWOBHM movement and what went after on with a very restrict number of bands...

Re: Best-Favorite NWOBHM LPs ?

NWOBHM is an era, it's not a sub-genre. Just for the record - it's your own opinion or something you did read somewhere ? For me - and i've total right in affirming it because i didn't stand only with the albuns neither the 7''s and because i listened a lot, I've studied it deeply and keep studing ...

Re: Best-Favorite NWOBHM LPs ?

But when i say - Post-NWOBHM bands what do you call to a band that started on the peak of the NWOBHM and that kept more of less their sound and atittude through all the 80's not changing up much ? There's a difference between a NWOBHM band and a NWOBHM album. If a band released a demo in 1981 then ...

Re: Best-Favorite NWOBHM LPs ?

But you still have several bands not fitting in there was no "movement" anymore. (in Spain there was something symilar with Pop/Rock in Madrid with "La Movida" and here in Portugal we called "The Boom Of Portuguese Rock". It's ok - most of bands have disbanded or were s...
