If you grow up with some of these albums you're surely more likely to have a soft spot...and for me Vavel's first is really good.

The Summoning use digital just about everything but I love their music! I'm not sure that real drums would be a benefit here anyway...they are there to support and be humble timekeepers/worshippers of the amazing guitar lines and synthy bits.
