HELL ALBUM/LABEL SIGNING NEWS The last time I posted on here, I hinted strongly at the fact that HELL would possibly soon become a METAL BLADE band. Well...............like everything else I’ve ever said on this forum, that was cast-iron fact at the time. Never, in our wildest dreams, did we expect...

Keep It True 2012 it is then! :D Will the bonus DVD contain any old videos from back in the day? With metal blade backing them I'm sure they'd possibly get a lot of shows booked. I have a good feeling the album will be extremely well received. I really don't see how it can't be. I wondered that too...

Bloody hell. OK, straight from the horse's mouth again; 1 You'll all soon read an announcement that HELL have been signed to Metal Blade US and Europe, and that the album will go on full worldwide release. So yes, it was worth waiting for. The first thing they're doing is to fund a video shoot for a...

It's a Floyd, although my '79 original had a Kahler.

@HumanRemains really beautiful. Custom made, huh? Actually, not quite. The one on the right is my 'go-to' guitar, a Hamer USA Custom Shop which is effectively a replica of the 1979 Hamer Standard I played in Hell's early days. It's a boutique-built one-off which cost a fortune, but was worth every ...

Hi all, Kev Bower from HELL here - just thought I'd throw in my opinions which may help. One of the main reasons why our album sounds the way it does is that we used exactly the same gear as we did in in 1985 - my Hamer Explorer with passive Seymour Duncan pickups (SH5 Custom bridge, plus the SH1 '5...

Sorry for being back again so soon, but I felt the overwhelming compulsion to repost this, courtesy of Rich Walker tonight; HELL - "Human Remains" 2010 Well, Who would have thought that 25 years after Guitar wizard Kevin Bower left HELL, and 23 years after the late, great and sorely missed...

Hello to all, I just wanted to make it clear to everyone who has kindly contributed to this thread, that there are three genuine reasons why we haven't posted anything online - and I'm posting this reply because I want to completely dispel any (entirely understandable) suspicions relating to hype. I...

You can tell me my music's shit. You can tell me I'm a rubbish guitar player and a godawful keyboard player. You can unleash the foulest belial aspersions on my songwriting. You can tell me that my daughter's a whore and that my son's a junkie. You can tell me that my girlfriend's ugly. But to criti...

OK - time for me to intervene again, methinks. Thanks to all who have commented (either positively or negatively) - your opinions are valued and respected as always, if a little misguided at times....... A coupla points; 1 The album is finished, mixed and we're looking for a label deal right now. An...

....you see the problem? No matter what happens, somebody's gonna hate it. The only way to please all of the people all of the time is to do about ten different versions so everyone's happy. FYI double-sided CD's are a new innovation and are shit-hot. Imagine a clear vinyl LP with a full, double-sid...

I gave you my word that we would re-think this, and I genuinely care about what people like you think - you're the lifeblood and it's you guys who give us a reason to do what we do. I talked with Andy today, and I can now confirm that the album will be a double-sided CD. All the new stuff on one sid...

Once again, thankyou very much for the thoughtful replies. You have made your positions regarding downloads vs. a CD or a 'proper' release very clear, so I give you my word that we will re-think this topic. I already explained that I would love to see a vinyl release, and I personally think it would...
