I'm aware of that but alot of people claims to have first pressings and then it turns out that the CD has an IFPI Code meaning that it is a repress. I've done some asking around myself and it seems that your copy is the black sheep, so that's why I asked. If my copy is the black sheep, it would mea...

Strange... However, it's not a good sign that there are no lyrics in your "booklet", plain white inner is never a good sign. And for the matrix, well, that's quite easy for bootleggers. Today I got a cd which surely is a bootleg but has an MCA matrix (Femme Fatale - Same CD). So I wouldn'...

Actually the green mark is "Der grüne Punkt", which you can find an almost every product packaging here in Germany (except for CD's nowadays or I have overseen them...). It part of our so called "Duales System". Usually the packaging with the green mark comes into another ton tha...

Re: Help on my SAVAGE GRACE cd

How can I tell if my SAVAGE GRACE MASTER OF DISGUISE/THE DOMINATRESS is an original? Its a Black dragon issue, has the multi-page booklet with the note from Christian Logue and I bought it YEARS ago. Reading from the bottom of the cd the Matrix is BDCD001 MP0 02 then some weird symbol that looks ki...

Meanwhile the label told me that only around 10-15 cd's were affected by the problem with too large inlays. I don't know how it is with the printing of the cd labels, maybe the same and I got the luck to get some of these. However, I can give them back so for me the problem is solved. They actually ...

Thanks a lot for the info heavymetalmaniac. Do you know how much the record might value these days? Not that I'm thinking of selling it. :D Cheers! Unfortunately I don't have a clue. I have both releases in different formats(except for the EP, which was only released on vinyl) but am not thinking a...

Seems very unlikely that that would be bootlegged It wouldn't make sense, since Megaforce re-released most of the Exciter stuff (including phantom remastering). I guess I should have bought it then, since my copy has some wear on the inlay. This is the only (CD) version which contains the album as ...

Yep, Portugal. I wonder what that surprise might be. I just bought "Annihilation Absolute" LP, Metal Masters version, and I was told that even though it has fewer tracks it's the best version in terms of sound. So I was wondering what you guys know about it. There are actually two differe...

So he confirmed that the CD's which will be re-released only will contain the remastered sound, and that this is what he wanted (soundwise). On Amazon you can already listen to the music and I think you can hear the difference. So it's a matter of taste. That means I will still need to keep the LPs...

Regarding inlays, which don't fit: I've bought some Steel Legacy CD's in Oberhausen, namely Amon-Ra, Daggers Edge and Force Majeure. They all have the same issue with non fitting inlays BUT that's not all, the cd's itself do have very poorly printed labels, the all over impression is: BOOTLEG. I kno...

Interesting and well done fanzine, great reading. When it comes to "glorification" (Pagan Altar) there are many bands nowadays who people think are "Metal Gods". Bands like Manilla Road, Cirith Ungol and Brocas Helm are meanwhile considered as "unbelieveable great" whil...

Yesterday at the Metropole Ruhr Festival I came across an Exciter "Violence & Force" copy by Globus International. It was sealed (which doesn't mean too much probably) and should have cost 13 Euros. I didn't buy it, since I forgot about it BUT I wonder if this copy was legit or if the ...
