Re: Sabbat (Japan)

A Sabbat thread and I haven’t posted in it? Bloody blighty.

But nothing more to add: can’t really go wrong with any of the full-lenghts or a compilation of the old EP’s. All should be available on both vinyl and CD if you look around a bit.

Re: Keep It True 2020

This will for sure take longer than a few weeks, but on the other hand there's no way they can extend a lockdown to 18 months. And I'm not even speaking from an economic viewpoint, just the general mental health of your population... Well these words from 2020 are strange to read again... Still hav...

Re: Insane Ebay Auctions - Vinyl, Tapes & Merch

I liked Blut & krieg but never really this one. Not being repressed for such a long time probably also had something to do with the status of this. To be honest I never understood why ToOGS on one hand, and Vampires by Mütiilation on the other hand, were so much more expensive than other records...

Re: Insane Ebay Auctions - Vinyl, Tapes & Merch

Time for my classic weeping story on how I came in second bidder at something like $150, for a copy sold on ebay some 15-20 years ago. Before the review on the corroseum which made the record infamous.

Re: Insane Ebay Auctions - Vinyl, Tapes & Merch

They only show the 10 latest sales, perhaps that's why? Do they? Would explain it but not very logical IMO. As for being rich - well define "rich". Discogs collection value is one thing - actually getting that amount of $$ in your pocket (or in your bank account) is another. You can't pay...

Re: Insane Ebay Auctions - Vinyl, Tapes & Merch

Is this it? Are we, like, rich now? Don't know about you but ever since I added my vinyl to Discogs a few years ago, the rise of my 'collection value' has been pretty mind-boggling. On the other hand I bought a copy of the RSD Cro-mags reissue via Discogs for €20, and the 'Lowest sold' on the relea...

Re: Italian Metal Heroes - collectors editions

It's the same spot where I pressed my Offertory EP, did I ever give you that one, it has been so long I can't remember, must've had your name on it... It's lathe cut yes. Yes, I remember getting that one from you in front of the Mag4. But my memory isn't that good that I remember which bands were p...

Re: Italian Metal Heroes - collectors editions

Auarecords has a machine that prints directly onto the vinyl so if a single customer or shops/distributors ask for only one copy or more the label can do it without problems avoiding unsold copies in stock instead; P.S. Release number 3 will feature Bloody Skizz with their songs originally released...

I saw this for sale in an alternative bookshop of all places (Zanker might know it, Paard van Troje in Ghent, at de Kouter) but didn't buy it (yet?).

Re: True Raw Speed Metal Attack Bands (old school tradition) new and old bands

EVIL INVADERS Still don't understand the popularity of those guys. Just one of the many sound-alike demo bands we had in Belgium at that time. Probably they are really professional and dedicated but yeah...just not interesting to my ears. Typical case of "no one is a prophet in his own country...

Re: Most out of place record find?

Heavy metal army LP in a box of 80’s pop compilations at a yard sale not far from my house, maybe 15 years ago. That was an expensive import record back in the 80’s so very strange… One time my father said someone he knew was selling something I might like. Turned out it was an uncensored firstpress...
