Cheap Stone box set (in the US)

Fifteen bucks for everything Stone ever released!

I paid like 50 euros for this thing when it came out, and that was before the astronomical shipping. This is a great deal for some medium-good thrash.

Anyone going to Bäääm this year?

I'm flying to Germany at the end of the month for the Bäääm fest, mainly to see Refuge, but it'll be cool (maybe?) to see Necronomicon and Darkness. Anyone else going? Except for my flights, I haven't done any planning, and haven't decided if I want to camp at the site (even if that could easily be ...

Huh, Gary Hoey. Weird. He's not on the demo I have, but I guess by 1992 he had moved on to bigger and allegedly better. Good catch!

Would you call them
Z-Axis
or
Z Axis

?
On the spine and the cassette, it says Z-Axis, so I guess the hyphen is part of the name, although it's obviously not in the logo. And don't just try pronouncing the name or you'll confuse them with Zaxas!

It's still there, & I think you need to have made at least 25 posts to access it.

Thanks for this upload too!
I'd better post more, then!!!

Mace - demo 1992

http://mattjohnsen.com/Corroseum/Mace%20-%20Mace.png Here's another unknown demo, which like Z-Axis wasn't on Metal Archives (although I've now submitted both.) This is not the crossover band Mace from Washington, but a prog metal band from Massachusetts. The singer is evidently now in a Spanish ba...

Ha! If you can believe it, that never occurred to me! But yeah, probably. Friar Wagner and I have been collecting a lot of skulls lately. Not sure when we're going to fire up the site again, but it's coming eventually.

Re: Eat Metal Records new LP issues out 06th March 2015 info request

of course you don't care. It was used to illustrate a point, if you think about it. Sure there are always reasons for delays. But this one is sort of like saying 'my dog ate my homework'... I guess, but I know (personally) more than a few bands who expected vinyl from some of these Euro plants in t...

Z-Axis - Equations of Dementia (demo 1990)

http://mattjohnsen.com/Corroseum/Z-Axis%20-%20Equations%20of%20Dementia.png This is a demo from 1990 about which I've not been able to find any information. I've had this literally since the moment it came out, though, and I finally got around to digitizing the music and scanning the cover for the ...

Re: Eat Metal Records new LP issues out 06th March 2015 info request

Do you believe him when he says there are so few? This list : http://ydnirgal.info/resources.htm shows 17 plants in Europe, so even if 1/2 are brokers or out of business, that is quite a lot more than 3. I am just passing along the information I received, which indeed addresses the original questio...

Re: Eat Metal Records new LP issues out 06th March 2015 info request

Axel says: "I talked to Greg, the chief of EAT METAL REC., recently and he said that there is a delay of approximately 4 weeks with the vinyls because the pressing manufactory has too much lag. There are just 2 or 3 companies here in Europe still pressing vinyls and since it is more and more co...

Re: Industrial Metal

I wanna second the Pitch Shifter suggestion - their first two albums and the EP in between are crucial, especially Desensitized. Might I also suggest Swamp Terrorists? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=na4PfsqwlHA Kinda like Ministry meets Pitch Shifter. Pretty sure they sample Coroner somewhere on Gr...
