In HeavyMetal unlimited Saginaw, it's Tod Michael Hall of Riot V, then Harlot :)

This is an English band NWOBHM, I'm sure of it.

Re: Best All female/Female Fronted Metal Bands

I always found Hellion as pretty average band. I can't believe that Syren never got signed and they were such a killer band. Meanstreak was also good. Their post-album demo was even better than the album, although album was already excellent. Zed Yago was great. Jutta Weinhold still has killer vocals.

I heard demo and it's better than Survival. Demo is thrash rather than Power heavy as on Survival.

If you mean recent CMC remasters, I wouldn't recommend them. They're loud and commpressed vinyl rips.

Re: SIGN OF THE HAMMER or HAIL TO ENGLAND

It occurs to me that if they'd put 'Defender' on 'Hail To England' instead of keeping it back for the 12" single that would have made it far harder to choose between 'Hail...' and 'Sign...', but they didn't, (the fools!), so it's a moot point. Didn't they actually record all the material for 'Into'...

Re: SIGN OF THE HAMMER or HAIL TO ENGLAND

Sign of the hammer is the stronger from the two, but I tend to look at them as a whole. That way Hail to England blends nicely in to Sign of teh Hammer. Shame they were mixed differently, that would be one great album. This way Hail is too short. And I think that Into Glory ride is the best album of...

Re: Genres You Got Tired Of

Haha, kewl! You see, these are differences that make us going. DD I acquired in Oct/Nov 1990. Three full spins and we were "married". Brutal and mostly fast thrash songs like title, Merciless Death, Hunger Of The Undead, Black Prophecies, were indispensable even when I moved onto death and then bla...

Re: Genres You Got Tired Of

It's also pity that majority of thrash fans in the 80's chose to listen to boring Reign in Blood or South of Heaven instead of killer Violent Restitution. On Reign in blood only two songs I find interesting. Everything else is unfinished to me. I'm not a fan of 1.33 minutes songs. It's understandab...

boring Reign in Blood That's like saying "Boring chase through the woods by a maniac with a chainsaw." On Reign in blood only two songs I find interesting. Everything else is unfinished to me. I'm not a fan of 1.33 minutes songs. Metal Blade years of Slayer I always return to. Hell Awaits is their ...

Re: Genres You Got Tired Of

Some bands I can't get tired of like Overkill, Razor, Testament, but others do wear off after some time Some stuff is so boring, even then it was a struggle like Dark Angel's Time does not heal or late 80's Slayer.... Time has so many pointless riffs, songs are long and boring. At one point I didn't...

Re: "WARNING! NOT METAL!"-gallery...

From a quick google search, I found the author is Bruce Pennington. Apparently, it was originally done for the cover of a Frank Herbert (author of "Dune#) book called "The Green Brain", and then reused several times for other stuff. http://www.brucepennington.co.uk/general.htm I used to have Herber...

Yes, Great cover artwork. If I'm not mistaken this was used too for an Iron Maiden bootleg cd.
Who is the author of the ilustration and what is it called? Do you know?
