Yeah, this song isn't that bad in itself, and may have been a great one with more energy put into it (and better lyrics, too). I'll try to check the later material then, since I'm curious about them since ages,

(And thanks for the compliment about my nickname, eh eh!)

This summed it up! Wild Cat is still a classic record, though.

I recently got a link to a FORMEL 1 video from 1984 ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3U3EDJys7Q4 ), maybe from here, and I was a bit disappointed. On this video the band looks more like a mainstream pop band, with some hints of Schlager, cruelly lacking dynamics both on music and attitude, notwithst...

Rare French sampler for sale - MARIENTHAL

I have no use of this record so I'm selling this huge rarity : V/A - Rock à Rouen, 1984, which contains various live tracks from French bands of the Rouen area, mostly Rock, reggae, etc, but it includes one unreleased track from the Heavy-Metal band MARIENTHAL; recorded live at l'EXO 7, Rouen, Febru...

At least the record is quite to my taste, and to some others. I know Malay bands enough to know what you mean, but here there's no ballads in sight.

By the way, JUNCTION's LP has no ballad, if my memory serves well.

FIRASAH - Si Penanggal - 7EP out !

I've read some words about this band here, but no annoucement, so I do it. Info I've got : "They play malaysian traditional heavy metal like the early days. The frontman of the band is from Panama and played with Los Assesinos De Pentagram before. Musicwise, it is close to Rockers,Crossfire(mal...

Will the Rock in Rouen compilation fit this project ? There is only a MARIENTHAL (France) track when it comes to Metal, the other tracks being rock, reggae, etc.

It wasn't a question of who was the singer for him. It was a question of a bad performance, of someone that wasn't able to simply perform. He wasn't the same with this opinion, too.

It just looks that this performance was a love or hate thing.

Malay HM is a total different story IMO. HURD is 100% Metal, contrary to most Malay bands.

Thanks a lot for this one. This record isn't exactly easy to catch, but it's interesting more than for historical reasons IMO. The vocalist is an acquired taste too, but I tend to like his voice more and more after each listen.

It's a good album with this Russian vibe, but nothing too exciting this time. However, it's somewhat great to see a solid release from this country where almost nothing comes out.

they did an amazing show when I saw them at Hell's Pleasure and I've so far read only good reviews. A friend of mine told me the exact contrary. The singer was simply too high on drugs to offer a decent performance. The songs were badly played, etc. The real PENTAGRAM at this show was the Chilean o...

ANGEL CRASH's "Planète espoir". The A-side of the single is totally great but this song is a total borefest, after a great intro though. This just sounds like 80's French pop music, or to the worst of SATAN JOKERS.
