Rock 82 - Vetlanda LP 1982
Label: private #: SWE 124 Country: Sweden
Info: A pure low-budget, d.i.y.-affair. 6 bands from the Town of Vetlanda, Sweden (see map above) pool some money together, get some local sponsors, put on a small festival, record some of their songs live and vinylize it. How cool is that?
(This album was also the vinyl debut of Swedish mainstream pop artist Lena Philipsson, here doing the vocals for JUPITERS KRATRAR. This in turn makes it a particularly pricey and hard-to-find item)

CONTENT
(bold = exclusive track / normal = non-exclusive track / italic = non-metal)

Side A:
1. SWEA - Landet Erotica
Could almost have passed as decent melodic HR if the guitars hadn't been so wimpy.
2. SAINTS AND SINNERS - Bonie Moronie
  Traditional RnR.
3. JUPITERS KRATRAR - Here I Am
  Soft jazz-rock.
4. GREENSLEEVES - The Evil
Lo-fi, amateurish, not too original but absolutely PERFECT Olde Forgotten Metal!
5. BALANZE - Promised Land
  Chuck Berry-cover.
6. MITT I NATUREN - Dröm
  Pop ballad.

Side B:
1. GREENSLEEVES - Fire
110% FWOSHM-charm! Catchy as satan! Awesome lyrics too.
2. JUPITERS KRATRAR - By The Lake
  Funk Rock.
3. SWEA - Djupa Spår
  Reaggae [spelling schmelling..]
4. BALANZE - Ain't Raining
  Comically awful trad RnR.
5. MITT I NATUREN - Veckorevyn
  Blues/pub rock.
6. SAINTS AND SINNERS - Walking By Myself
  More horrible "RnR".
