Puissance 4 LP 1980
Label: Rosique #: 84401 Country: France
Info: The 4 artists were winners of a "battle of the bands" type competition in the Rhône-Alpes region and recorded in late 1980, though no year is given on the album. The Made In France 1978-2008 encyclopedia claims that it was released in 1984, but this is probably incorrect. Comes in a gatefold sleeve.

(bold = exclusive track / normal = non-exclusive track / italic = non-metal)

Side A:
1. ELIOTT NESS - Époque Opaque
Progressive rock with perhaps some Krautrock influence.
2. DRAM - Tu Te Caches
Enjoyable punky NWOBHM sound with some cool 70s style bass guitar.
3. DUELLE - L'Homme En Blanc
Post-punk with a reggae beat, and from out of nowhere an awesome heavy guitar solo.
4. WARNING - May Be Love
Garage rock with hard rock tendencies.

Side B:
1. DUELLE - Radeau De Papier
There's that reggae beat again, but this time it turns into more of a prog rock piece.
2. WARNING - I Look So Hard
Garage rock. Not to be confused with the heavy metal WARNING.
3. ELIOTT NESS - Pick Up
4. DRAM - Joie Du Coeur
Decent but unremarkable garagey hard rock.
