Karlshamns Musikforum 15 År DLP 1989
Label: Forum Records #: FRS 003 Country: Sweden
Info: Celebrates the 15-year anniversary of the Musikforum music org/rehearsal place in Karlshamn. A cool item for those who enjoy the diy/kitchen-sink/real-people stuff often found on releases like this, but not much of a lost Metal gem I'm afraid...

CONTENT
(bold = exclusive track / normal = non-exclusive track / italic = non-metal)

Side A:
1. TENGEL - Two Minutes Silence
  Nice & mellow HR
2. DEAD YOUTH - Any Chans?
Fast punk/HC with a drum machine.
3. KALLARE ÄN GLASS - Kallare Än Glass
  Classic/boogie rock.
4. DAILY DRAM - Sommarhit
  Novelty pop.
5. ÄBBA-STINAS HOBBYBAND - Time Flies By
For years I thought this was the coolest, cutest diy/outsider-pop evah', until someone pointed out it's a Half Man Half Biscuit-cover (...of a song originally performed on an old British animated children show). Still the best song on comp all things considered...
6. LOOK THOSE LIGHTS GUILALA IS BACK - Look Those Lights
  Jazz-pop/easy-listening.

Side B:
1. BIG SESSION - What About You
  Pop-rock.
2. MOJAVE DESERT BAND - All Secrets Revealed
  Fluff jazzy pop.
3. DOKTOR KRALL - Tusen År
  The Cure-style pop-goth.
4. HALLORAN SHINE - The Fire
  aor w/ bad fem vox.
5. ONE TIME BLUESBAND - Sex.
  Heavy blues rock
6. DANSANTZ - Aldrig Nå'nsin
So-called 'dansband', i.e. Swedish schmalzy schlager-pop in a foxtrot tempo.

Side C:
1. AREA - Amelia
  aor.
2. PAIAZZO - Andetag
  Melancholic alternative pop.
3. BLUE TOWN - Turn On The Light
  Poppy aor.
4. LES PETANEURES - Walk Don't Run
  Surf instrumental.
5. FIFI AGAIN - Kundalini Express
Cool & dark junior-high alternative rock.
6. TORSTENS HAREM - Kriget Med Mig Själv
More lovely junior high charm in the form of a cover of Swedish 'rock icon' Joakim Thåström. Destroys the awful original, of course.
7. ELECTRIC LIFE - Superstar
Judging by the booklet picture we're down on a middle-school level here. Frail & stumbling instrumental.

Side D:
1. EON - The End Of An Era
The one wee metallic contribution to this oddball doesn't inspire any big words I'm afraid. Base, uncatchy rockmetal with little identity.
2. MADGIC CROWD - Rag Doll
  60's style pop ballad.
3. REMAIN IN LIGHT - Tell Them Not To Worry
  All-girl soft pop.
4. PILLEMANDJYOONKS - Bulldozer
Noisy, minimalistic post-punk like Sucide meets The Velvet Underground. (luws it!)
5. INTERACTION - It's A Game
Wimpy melodic hr. I was disappointed to read that this is the same band who did the great, heavy "Stuck In Drugs" on the Rockslaget 3LP 8 years earlier.
6. BIG BAD DOYS - Another Beautiful Day
  Rock ballad.
