Info: Heavy Metal Rendezvous was the name of Mitch Capka's metal themed radio show on WUJC in Cleveland, OH. In fact, the full title of the album is Mitch Capka & WUJC 88.7 Present Cleveland's Heavy Metal: Etched in Steel, but it is usually abbreviated.

CONTENT
(bold = exclusive track / normal = non-exclusive track / italic = non-metal)

Side A:
1. SORCERER - Strike Of The Raven
Mid-paced doom metal with some great 70s guitar work by Pat Delaney.
2. SINNER - Runner
Bit of an early German metal feel to this one.
3. MERRI HOAX - The Terrorists
A decent JUDAS PRIEST clone. Not quite MALICE, but at least its not HYKSOS either.
4. GUTWRENCH - Blood And Guts
Generic riffs with gutteral vocals like a less thrashy HALLOWS EVE.

Side B:
1. MISTREATER - Wizard Star
The singer sounds less like Vince Neil compared to other recordings and the result is a pretty good WITCHFINDER GENERAL type song.
2. STRYKER - Streetwalker
The main riff has a nice groove to it, but everything else about the song is just awful. Not to be confused with the New Jersey band, or the Texas band that later became STRYKEN.
3. SEVERE WARNING - Metal Malice
I don't usually like instrumentals, but this turns out to be one of the highlights of the album.
4. WHITE NIGHT - This Is Rock
  This is abysmal hard rock.
