Demolition: Scream Your Brains Out LP 1988
Label: Chain Reaction Records #: CRE 103 Country: England
Info: "Demolition" was the name of the demo reviews-section in Metal Forces, perhaps the most influencial mag of the 80's Thrash and cutting-edge Metal scene. Not surprising then that "Scream Your Brains Out" turned out to be the Greatest Thrash Compilation Of All Time.

CONTENT
(bold = exclusive track / normal = non-exclusive track / italic = non-metal)

Side A:
1. LEVIATHAN - Violent Slaughter
Simply the most raging Deathrash demo recording in the history of raging Deathrash demo recordings. Later featured on disc #4 in the CD box set "A Decade In The Grave" by Chris Barnes' later band Six Feet Under, released in 2005.
2. HOBB'S ANGEL OF DEATH - Chainsaw Massacre
Adrenaline-reeking, high-speed SatanThrash from hell! (that's Australia) Later featured on the demo anthology LP "Hobb's Satan's Crusade", released in 2003.
3. AFTERMATH - War For Freedom
By mixing the ultraspeed of USHC with Thrash this Chicago-act produced a storming, unique sound without really sounding like 'crossover' at all.
4. ANACRUSIS - Imprisoned
Imagine NIHILIST or NECROVORE doing Epic US Metal and merging the absolute best of traits from both genres. In their early prime, Anacrusis made the impossible possible. Later featured on the "Annihilation Complete: The Early Years Anthology" CD+DVD on Stormspell Records in 2009.
5. ATROPHY - Chemical Dependency
The US answer to Deathwish. Almost equally brilliant.

Side B:
1. LEVIATHAN - Leviathan
The underground Masters of sick'n'brutal Metal proves their point once again. "Leviathaaan!! The Beast From The Watah'!!.." Later featured on disc #4 in the CD box set "A Decade In The Grave" by Chris Barnes' later band Six Feet Under, released in 2005.
2. HOBB'S ANGEL OF DEATH - Satan's Crusade
Fast, evil THRASH with stress-levels going through the roof! Later featured on the demo anthology LP "Hobb's Satan's Crusade", released in 2003.
3. AFTERMATH - When Will You Die
Were accused of playing "too fast" back in the days, but I'm not complaining.
4. ANACRUSIS - Disemboweled/Annihilation Complete
Brutal, intense and intricate. Could almost count as Death Metal had it been a little less awesome. Later featured on the "Annihilation Complete: The Early Years Anthology" CD+DVD on Stormspell Records in 2009.
5. ATROPHY - Preacher, Preacher
Just perfect, class-A1 Speed Metal with riffing to die for.
